Airtel 4G adds Karnal and Yamunanagar in Haryana to coverage list

Bharti Airtel today announced the availability of its 4G LTE services on dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs, Mi-Fi and Wi-Fi dongles in Karnal and Yamunanagar in Haryana.

The expansion of Airtel 4G services is despite the decision of Reliance Jio Infocomm to postpone the launch of its 4G LTE and FTTH broadband services to December 2015.

Manu Sood, hub CEO – Upper North, Bharti Airtel (India) said the company is offering the home Wi-Fi CPEs for a retail price of Rs 2,500 along with affordable 4G plans across select Airtel retail outlets in Karnal and Yamunanagar. Bharti Airtel is also offering 10 GB of 4G data for Rs 995 for CPE subscribers.

Apart from home broadband, Airtel is offering 4G on dongles, Mi-Fi and Wi-Fi dongles. The Indian telecom service provider has set up special demo zones and kiosks at Airtel Store at 135 Kunj Pura road Karnal and Airtel Store at 106-P, District Sub Center-HUDA, near Kanhayiya Chowk, Yamunanagar.

Airtel 4G services are currently available in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangaluru, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Moga, Bathinda Patiala and recently launched Ambala (City and Cantt.).
