ZTE today said that its wireless division posted 20 percent growth in sales in 2014 and achieved 25 percent share in 4G eNodeB shipments.

ZTE’s 4G eNodeB shipments doubled in 2014, accounting for more than 25 percent of the market share. 4G core network products sales rose nearly 200 percent in the European market.
The Chinese telecom network vendor signed more than 170 LTE / evolved packet core (EPC) deals till 2014 December. ZTE did not name key LTE telecom customers.
ZTE’s growth in 4G was supported several innovations including the world’s first 365 Mbps compact ultra-broadband RRU product, Qcell solution for indoor coverage, Cloud UniCore solution based on network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined network (SDN) technologies, etc.
