Indian wired and wireless broadband market data for 2014 April

Telecom regulator TRAI has shared Indian wired and wireless broadband market data for 2014 April.

As per TRAI data, number of broadband subscribers rose 1.45 percent from 60.87 million in March 2014 to 61.74 million in April 2014.

Out of this, wired broadband users are 14.91 million and mobile broadband users – phones and dongles – are 46.42 million.

BSNL is leading the wired and wireless broadband market category with 16.94 million, Airtel 12.84 million, Idea Cellular 7.45 million, Vodafone 7.26 million and Reliance Communications 7.15 million users till April 2014, said TRAI.
