Ericsson announced the appointment of Nicholas Seow as the new president and
country manager of Singapore and Brunei.
Seow will be responsible for driving Ericsson’s business
with local operators and their regional activities across the Asia-Pacific
region (APAC). Ericsson is currently the technology partner of leading
telecommunications operators in Singapore and Brunei.
Seow joined Ericsson in 2005 and is the first
Singaporean to be appointed president and country manager of Singapore and
Brunei. Prior to this position, he was vice president for the Ericsson SingTel
account in Singapore.
He was responsible
for growing Ericsson’s business with SingTel, in terms of driving new
technologies, business solutions and sales. As a customer oriented
professional with 15 years of sales management experience, Seow has both direct
and channel sales experiences with a proven track record of market penetration
in APAC.

leadership, we are confident that we will be able to further strengthen
Ericsson’s position in Singapore and Brunei. The Singapore and Brunei markets

Ericsson India recently announced
its plans to step up managed services presence in the country. To meet the
evolving needs of operators for support and operations IT services, Ericsson,
world’s largest provider of telecom services and the 8th largest IT
services company, is investing further in competence in its Global Service
Center (GSC) in India.
The focus on managed services in India enables Ericsson
to handle remote operations and support for both telecom network and IT
operations. Consulting and systems integration will act as a door-opener into
the strategic IT domain which includes IT data centers, service layer, business
and operations support systems.
