HCL Infosystems to distribute Huawei’s enterprise products and phones

Telecom Lead Asia: HCL Infosystems will distribute Huawei’s enterprise products, phones and laptops in India.

Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services (DDMS), a subsidiary of HCL Infosystems, will distribute Huawei’s product range along with the associated services including enterprise network solutions, infrastructure, security, storage, data storage services, smart phones, tablets etc.

Under this deal DDMS and Huawei will collaborate on marketing, sales and technical areas and overall go-to market activities. DDMS will support in marketing activities for Huawei product range and further help promote, participate and extend the sale of the Huawei products through activities such as market research, advertising, trade shows, internet marketing etc.

“With DDMS’s structured, robust distribution network, coupled with our broadened ICT product and solutions portfolio, we look at strengthening our presence across organized trade, Top 200 towns, tier 3 & 4 towns & even rural markets. Through this valued partnership, we aim to connect with our end users and thus, deliver more value to their growing business,” said Eric Yu, president, Huawei Enterprise Business Group, India.

“DDMS has been a pioneer in the telecom distribution market in India and has recently launched its new IT distribution vertical. With this partnership with Huawei DDMS has strengthened its portfolio in IT distribution. This exclusive partnership will not only enable DDMS to grow but, also allow Huawei to further reach out to the fast growing mid-market in India,” said Sanjay David, CEO Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services.

The Huawei products that are available through DDMS will be priced at par with similar products available directly from Huawei. This agreement will provide more partners the added flexibility in the way they procure Huawei products for the end-customer.
