EarthLink announced that two senior sales executives have
joined the company’s leadership team to run its newly established Premier
Business Solutions and National Accounts divisions.
Reporting to EarthLink chairman and chief executive
officer Rolla P. Huff, the business units were created to establish a
consistent customer-focused approach to leveraging EarthLink’s nationwide IP
networking and managed services capabilities.
The company will continue to have a centralized Marketing
and Shared Services organization, led by Cardi Prinzi, executive vice president
of Marketing. EarthLink is also positioning its managed services division to
focus on the expansion of managed IT, hosted security and data center
capabilities throughout all of its channels of distribution.
Mae Squier-Dow joins EarthLink as president of Premier
Business Solutions, overseeing the EarthLink Business mid-market sales and
account management teams. Squier-Dow is an experienced technology executive
with a 27-year track record of engaging customers and producing results in
value-added service businesses.
She was most recently senior vice president of Business
Development at Current Group, and previously held leadership positions at
Choice One Communications as senior vice president of Sales and Service,
president of Network Services and chief operating officer.
“The powerful combination of a robust product
portfolio, strong internet and security roots and viable financial position and
leadership team, make EarthLink a compelling company to do business with and to
work for. It’s exciting to find such a unique opportunity to join a company
that is so clearly positioned for success,” said Squier-Dow.
Vikram Desai joins EarthLink as president of National
Accounts, with overall responsibility for management and growth of the
company’s largest and most complex customers and opportunities.
Desai is a recognized senior executive leader with
enterprise data center solution expertise and in-depth knowledge of the managed
services space.
He has held CEO level positions with entrepreneurial data
center IT, web application and security companies and also served as chief
operating officer of application networking company Radware, where he guided
the company through a period of record growth.
“EarthLink is uniquely positioned to provide its
customers with powerful and reliable application services covering critical
areas of business operations freeing them to focus more closely on core
competencies and resulting in a clear competitive advantage,” said Desai.
EarthLink also
announced the promotion of Brian Fink to executive vice president of Managed
Services.
In his new role, Fink will leverage the core capabilities
of EarthLink Cloud to position EarthLink as a national Managed Services
Provider offering a full set of secure IT solutions for small, mid-market and

These IT solutions will enable customers to outsource
their non-strategic IT services to better manage their internal costs and
