Foxconn revenue surges 19% to T$1.55 trillion in second-quarter

Foxconn has revealed that its revenue increased 19.12 percent year-on-year to T$1.55 trillion for the second quarter of 2024.

Foxconn’s revenue in its cloud and networking products segment showed strong growth year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter benefiting from strong AI server demand.

Foxconn’s revenue from smart consumer electronics products, including smartphones, was flat year-on-year.

Foxconn’s revenue from computing products achieved strong growth year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter due to new tablet launch.

Taiwan-based Foxconn said this year’s third quarter is expected to see revenue grow both year-on-year and compared with the previous quarter.

Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics maker and Apple’s biggest iPhone assembler, will report its second-quarter earnings on Aug. 14.
