The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) has revealed its 2024 Board of Directors, signaling a diverse coalition of industry pioneers.
This announcement comes at a crucial juncture as the organization steers the industry through what is anticipated to be its most substantial investment cycle to date.
The newly appointed Board encompasses a spectrum of accomplished leaders deeply committed to FBA’s core mission: expediting fiber broadband deployments and bridging the digital divide across North America.
Gary Bolton, President, and CEO at the Fiber Broadband Association, expressed enthusiasm for the forthcoming year, stating, “With 2024 set to mark a pinnacle in fiber broadband history, our Board of Directors stands as a formidable cohort of seasoned leaders. Leading the helm in the coming year is Jimmy Todd, CEO and General Manager for Nex-Tech, stepping into the role of Board Chair as of January 1, 2024. Todd’s dedicated involvement with FBA includes prior positions as Board Vice Chair in 2023 and Secretary in 2022. Additionally, he served as a board liaison for FBA’s In-Home Experience Working Group Committee.

Joining the Board for three-year terms starting in 2024 are Ashley Brown, Evann Freeman, and Sachin Gupta. Their valuable contributions to various FBA committees and initiatives showcase their commitment to advancing broadband accessibility and infrastructure.
As part of the natural progression, several members conclude their tenures on the Board as of December 31, 2023. Katie Espeseth, Vice President of EPB of Chattanooga, Joe Jensen, Director of Market Development at Corning, and Joseph “JJ” Jones, President of On Trac, Inc., conclude their dedicated service on the Board, having made substantial contributions to FBA’s initiatives and committees.
The 2024 Board of Directors elections took place at the Fiber Broadband Association’s 2023 Premier Members Meeting, held from December 4-5 in Palm Springs, Calif., underscoring the collective dedication to shaping the future of fiber broadband connectivity.
