Turkcell wants 5G business, taps ZTE

Turkcell in 5G trials with ZTEZTE signed a cooperation agreement with Turkcell to cover fixed network and wireless products such as customer premises equipment (CPE), GPON, DWDM, 5G and more.

Zhao Xianming, CEO of ZTE Corporation and Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of Turkcell signed the MoU at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona.

As per the new agreement, Turkcell will focus on fields including Gigabit-capable passive optical networks (GPON), dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) and the side-edged 5G.
