5G Hackathon offers Rs 2.5 crore reward at IMC 2020

COAI, the organizers of India Mobile Congress 2020, announced 5G Hackathon offering Rs 2.5 crore worth of rewards to promote 5G across the country.

Top 100 submissions on 5G use cases will be awarded Rs 100,000 each. Compelling 5G use cases in the Indian context are acceptable. The 5G product should be demonstrable by the third phase of the challenge.

Finalists have a chance to win cash prizes at three different levels in addition to various other benefits. Top 100 participants can also showcase their products / solutions at India Mobile Congress 2020 being held in Delhi NCR region.

The event is open to all the players in the ecosystem who may participate as individuals, teams, companies, etc. and may work individually or as a team on ideas / concepts / solutions and present use cases of the 5G network.

Participants may be individuals, partnerships, JVs, registered companies, groups of individuals from India and abroad.

Employees of the DOT, IMC and sponsoring companies are not eligible.
