Watch4net wins contract for LTE performance management

A leading Tier 1 telecommunications operator in Europe, providing mobile voice and data services to millions of active customers, selected Watch4net’s APG software platform to monitor its LTE network for performance and capacity management.

The Watch4net APG performance management platform will be deployed over the entire LTE network, including radio access, core and transmission.

Integrated with device management systems, data will be collected from multiples sources, consolidated in one central repository, and analyzed live to detect potential performance problems.

The platform’s comprehensive dashboards and reports are aligned with 3GPP standards and LTE monitoring best practices and will provide
troubleshooting, element performance, network performance, traffic management,
trending, and service level agreement reporting.

APG will be deployed during the LTE network roll out, enabling the operator to have better visibility from day one, and to proactively improve service to its customers.

The solution will give the operator a competitive edge by enabling more efficient operations of its network and the introduction of new
revenue-generating services.

“This is a milestone and an important step for Watch4net, and it reaffirms Watch4net’s leadership for performance management of large IP networks. This deal puts Watch4net APG at the forefront of LTE deployments,” said Michel Foix, president of Watch4net.

The deal has been awarded to Watch4net after a 6months selection process with on-site evaluations, and will run over three years including system integration, educational services and 24/7 customer support.
