Telecom operator Vodafone India has revealed the availability of its 4G services in Uttarakhand and UP West circle.
As part of the new pricing strategy, the Indian mobile service provider is offering 22 GB data for Rs 999. Vodafone has started offering low cost Internet packages to attract more data users in the wake of the free offers from Reliance Jio.
Vodafone India said it is also providing 2 GB of free data for customers who upgrade to 4G SIM. Vodafone’s prepaid customers will get 4 times 4G data on purchase of 1 GB pack.
Vodafone said 30 MB of Internet pack will cost Rs 8.
Vodafone SuperNet 4G service is available in Dehradun, Haridwar, Aligarh, Nainital and nine other prominent business, tourism and educational hubs.
Vodafone will expand SuperNet 4G to several other major towns across the circle by March 2017.
“Beginning today, our customers in Dehradun, Haridwar, Aligarh, Nainital and 9 other towns soon across several other locations can enjoy the world’s largest 4G network experience,” said Suresh Kumar, operations director, Vodafone India and Dilip Kumar Ganta, business head – UP (west) Circle, Vodafone India.
Vodafone 4G is now available in UP (west), Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam & North East, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu circles.
Goa, Punjab and Chennai will be the new circles, wherein, Vodafone SuperNet 4G coverage will be available.
Vodafone 4G will reach 2,400 towns across the country by March 2017.
Vodafone India has over 11.4 million customers in the Uttarankhand and UP (west) circle.
Vodafone subscribers can check if their SIM / phone is 4G compatible by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199.
Vodafone India has invested over Rs 1,300 crore till date including more than Rs 139 crore in H1 FY 2017 to expand and modernize network UP (W) circle. Vodafone has over 850 Vodafone branded stores, mini stores and retail touch points in the circle.
