Vodafone 4G reaches Kohima in Nagaland

Vodafone 4G in Kohima
Vodafone India has revealed the launch of its 4G service in Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland.

Vodafone aims to enhance 4G coverage to major cities and towns of Assam and North East circles by March 2017.

Vodafone India said its SuperNet 4G services are already available in Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Bongaigaon and Guwahati in Assam, and Aizawl in Mizoram.

The telecom operator has invested Rs 2,200 crore in Assam and North East circle till date. During the first half of fiscal 2017, Vodafone made an investment of Rs 150 crore to expand its telecom network in the region.

Vodafone India has a large retail footprint with 290 Vodafone branded stores spread across prominent localities in Assam and North East.
