Telenor 4G reaches Hajipur in Bihar and Jharkhand region

Telecom network operator Telenor India has expanded its 4G coverage to Hajipur in Bihar and Jharkhand circle.

Hajipur is the third city in the Bihar & Jharkhand region to receive 4G services from Telenor. Telenor 4G has reached in Ranchi in July and Dhanbad in August respectively. Telenor achieved 100 percent growth in the number of mobile subscribers month on month.

“With 100 percent sites being ready in the city with advanced equipment and efficient spectral deployment, the company is geared up to offer superior speed and better experience at affordable price,” said AEA Jameel, circle business head – B&J, Telenor India.

Telenor India is offering 4G special tariff vouchers (STV) at three different affordable price points. The Rs 11 plan 11 offers 100 MB 4G data for 1 day. Telenor’s 47 data plan offers 500 MB 4G data for 21 days and STV 97 offers 1GB 4G data for 28 days along with local calls at 25p/min and STD calls at 30p/min.

Telenor said its 4G services are available in Varanasi, Vizag, Amravati, Agra, Anand, Lucknow, Ranchi, Vijayawada, Tenali, Eluru, Bhimavaram, Dhanbad, Dehradun, Guntur, Rajahmundry and Warangal.

Telenor said 74 percent of its sites in Bihar & Jharkhand have been modernized. Telenor has reduced congestion and increased data throughput resulting in an improved network experience for its customers.
