Telenor 4G price is cheaper than 3G in Dehradun

Telecom network operator Telenor India today announced the launch of 4G services on pilot basis in Dehradun.

Prior to the launch of 4G services in Dehradun, Telenor India achieved 100 percent growth in the number of mobile subscribers month on month basis in Agra, where it launched 4G in the month of June.

“With 100 percent sites being ready in Dehradun city with equipment and spectral deployment, the company is geared up to offer superior speed and better experience at affordable price,” said Anil Kumar, circle business head – UPW, Telenor India.

Telenor is offering 4G services at rates much lower than 3G services offered by nearest competition in Dehradun.

Telenor India is offering 4G special tariff vouchers (STV) for Rs 11, Rs 147 and Rs 247. While the call rates of each STV offered by Telenor remains @ 1 paisa / 2 second, STV 11 offers 100 MB of 4G data with the validity of 1 day, STV 147 offers 1GB data for 28 days and STV 247 offers 2GB data for 28 days.

Telenor’s 4G services are already available across its 6 telecom circles in Varanasi, Vizag, Amravati, Agra, Anand, Lucknow, Ranchi, Vijayawada, Tenali, Eluru, Bhimavaram, Dhanbad and Warangal.

Telenor India said 64 percent of its sites in UP West have been modernized. Telenor has reduced congestion and increased data throughput resulting in an improved network experience for its customers.
