T-Mobile Czech Republic conducts VoLTE call

Telecom service provider T-Mobile Czech Republic has conducted VoLTE call and limited pilot in its live network after deploying a converged IMS Core and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) Application Server solution jointly developed with Mavenir Systems.

T-Mobile Czech Republic deployed Mavenir’s IMS Core solution to deliver converged services from a single common platform enabling next generation services like VoLTE. Mavenir’s VoLTE Application Servers enable flexible deployment of the next generation voice services.

T-Mobile US LTE update

Vladimir Klein, technology director at T-Mobile CZ, said: “We selected Mavenir based on flexibility of their IMS platform / portfolio, and their ability to quickly integrate the solution into our existing network environment.”

Mavenir’s European VoLTE Centre of Excellence in Cologne, Germany supports the deployment of VoLTE solutions to mobile operators in Europe.
