Singtel to launch Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge on Saturday  

Singtel will launch Samsung Galaxy S6 4G+ and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ on 11 April in Singapore – offering wide LTE network coverage.

The telecom service provider did not share price details.

Singtel said more than 150 high-traffic buildings and MRT tunnels are equipped with 4G+ coverage offering surfing speeds of up to 300Mbps on any device that supports 4G+.

“Besides outdoor coverage, we have been investing in enhancing network quality within major shopping malls and MRT stations around the island,” said Johan Buse, VP of Consumer Marketing, Singtel.

Singtel said customers who buy either model on Combo Plans will get an extra 1GB of data for six months.

Extra data usage with Singtel Premium Wi-Fi All customers on Combo Plans 2 and above also enjoy free access to Singtel’s Premium Wi-Fi service. The service provides connectivity that is five times faster than most free Wi-Fi services and is available at over 400 hotspots including major shopping malls and MRT stations.
