Reliance Jio enhances 4G data benefits beating Airtel offer

Jio double dhamakaReliance Jio today said it will provide an additional 1.5GB data per day on its 4G network to all subscribers who recharges with any daily-recurring data pack.

This is in response to Airtel that introduced 1GB per day additional data on MRP 149 and MRP 399 price points only for a limited set of Airtel users.

The main difference between the offers between Reliance Jio and Airtel is the availability. Reliance Jio has extended the offer to all customers. Airtel is offering the plan to select customers only.

Airtel does not promise 100 percent 4G network connectivity to its customers because of Airtel 4G is not available across India. If 4G is not available, the network will automatically move to 2G or 3G, whichever is available.

Reliance Jio will offer 3GB per day to customers of Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399 and Rs 449 plan against the earlier 1.5GB data per day.

Jio will offer 3.5GB per day to customers of Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448 and Rs 498 plans who were earlier getting 2GB data per day.
Airtel vs Jio plansReliance Jio said its subscribers with Rs 299 plan will now get 4.5GB data per day against 3GB data per day earlier.

Wireless subscribers of Rs 509 plan will now get 5.5GB data per day as compared with 4GB data per day.

The premium subscribers of Rs 799 plan from Reliance Jio will now get 6.5GB data per day as against 5GB data per day.

Reliance Jio also offers Rs 100 discount on all recharges of Rs 300 and above and 20 percent on recharges below the Rs 300 price point, if the user recharges through the MyJio app and pays using PhonePe wallet.

With this, Jio users will get the Rs 149 pack for Rs 120 with 3GB per day data, free voice, SMS and Jio Apps for 28 days.

The Rs 399 pack effectively will be available for Rs 299 with 3GB per day data, free voice, SMS and Jio Apps for 84 days.
