Reliance Jio Infocomm is getting ready for its 4G launch in the second half of 2016 as Reliance Retail unveiled LYF smartphones.

Priced below Rs 7,000, LYF Wind 6 and LYF Flame 1 are the two cost effective 4G smartphone. Currently, Samsung and Lenovo are the leaders in the 4G smartphone category in India.

LYF smartphones feature 4G technology such as VoLTE and VoWi-Fi.

VoLTE and VoWi-Fi, as and when the 4G network is available, offers HD voice and video calls, multi-party voice and video conferencing, Wi-Fi calling, high-speed Internet, and seamless switching of a call from the service provider’s network to any available Wi-Fi network.

Both Wind 6 and Flame 1 come with Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset, 1 GB RAM, 5MP front camera and 5MP rear camera.
