RCOM completes sale of MCNs to Reliance Jio

Anil Ambani-promoted Reliance Communications (RCOM) announced the sale of its media convergence nodes (MCNs) and related infrastructure assets — worth INR 2,000 crore — to Reliance Jio.

Mukesh Ambani-promoted Reliance Jio is the largest 4G service provider in India with more than 215 million subscribers across the country.

Reliance Jio will own 248 MCNs covering nearly 5 million sq. ft. of area, used for hosting the telecom infrastructure.
