Mobile World Congress: Huawei launches 10GE cell site router for LTE backhaul

By Telecom Lead Team: Huawei has launched 10GE CSR (Cell
Site Router) ATN 950B for LTE backhaul at the Mobile World Congress.

ATN 950B strengthens the capabilities of Huawei’s mobile
broadband solutions, enabling mobile service providers to deploy extra-large
LTE networks and provide enhanced mobile data services for its users.

237 operators from 85 countries have invested in LTE.
With its small-size and large capacity, ATN 950B meets the demand of rapid
bandwidth growth for LTE, by providing larger network bandwidth,
multi-services, higher deployment efficiency, and lower maintenance.

LTE will become the mainstream in the mobile market and
develop at a rapid pace in the coming two to three years. Driven by this trend,
LTE base CSR needs to be developed. As the first 10GE CSR, ATN 950B helps
operators deploy mobile broadband networks quickly and evolve their networks to
LTE networks smoothly,” said Gai Gang, president of Carrier IP Product Line,
Huawei.

ATN 950B covers bandwidth increases from 1GE to 10GE
during LTE phases, even beyond LTE.  ATN 950B is 300mm deep and can share
the same rack with eNodeB. ATN 950B supports 10GE ring, L2VPN, L3VPN, and
H-QoS and can flexibly schedule various services on complex networks. It
supports synchronization with multiple precise clocks, such as ACR, synchronous
Ethernet, and IEEE1588v2.
