Starting from ₹25,959 crore in March 2024, revenue rose steadily to ₹26,478 crore by June 2024, reflecting initial momentum. This growth accelerated in the following quarters, with operating revenue reaching ₹28,338 crore in September 2024 and further climbing to ₹29,307 crore in December 2024.

By March 2025, Reliance Jio achieved a significant milestone, crossing ₹30,000 crore in quarterly operating revenue for the first time, closing at ₹30,018 crore.

This clear upward trend indicates strong business expansion, driven by higher customer engagement, better monetization strategies, and increasing data and voice usage. The sustained quarter-on-quarter improvement underscores the company’s strengthening market position and operational efficiency.

Reliance Jio’s revenue for fiscal 2025 has reached Rs 114,140 crore as against Rs 100,119 crore in fiscal 2024.

Jio has 191 million 5G customers at the end of March 2025. Reliance Jio generates 45 percent of its mobile data traffic from 5G customers. Jio’s customers experience 5G download speed of 224Mbps, 20 percent higher than competition.

Reliance Jio’s performance has shown steady improvements across most key metrics when comparing Q4 FY24, Q3 FY25, and Q4 FY25. The total customer base has increased from 481.8 million in Q4 FY24 to 488.2 million in Q4 FY25, reflecting a healthy growth trajectory.

Net customer additions also rose significantly, from 10.9 million in Q4 FY24 to 6.1 million in Q4 FY25, despite a dip to 3.3 million in Q3 FY25.

Average revenue per user (ARPU) improved from Rs 181.7 per month in Q4 FY24 to Rs 206.2 per month in Q4 FY25, indicating better monetization of services.

Total data consumption grew sharply from 4,094 crore GBs to 4,894 crore GBs over the same period, while per capita data consumption increased from 28.7 GB/month to 33.6 GB/month, highlighting rising data usage among customers.

Voice traffic on the network also saw a notable rise, with daily voice minutes increasing from 1,583 crore to 1,661 crore, and per capita voice consumption moving up from 1,008 minutes/month to 1,027 minutes/month.

Reliance Jio reached a total subscriber base of 488.2 million as of March 2025, with a net addition of 6.1 million subscribers in Q4FY25, marking a recovery following the tariff hike. The average revenue per user (ARPU) rose to Rs 206.2 per month, driven by improved customer mix.

Jio captured 90 percent of industry net additions over the past six months — around five times more than the nearest competitor. Data traffic surged 19.5 percent year-on-year to approximately 49 Exabytes, while voice traffic grew 3.8 percent. Per capita data consumption increased to 33.6 GB per month.

Jio has demonstrated technology leadership by developing the world’s first point-to-multipoint wireless solution for fixed broadband, enabling multiple homes to be connected via a single outdoor unit that offers double the spectrum efficiency compared to indoor units. This innovation, coupled with digital-twin based real-time feasibility checks, accelerated 5G and UBR deployment.

JioHome subscribers surpassed 18 million, with 1.5 million additions in the quarter, while AirFiber subscribers crossed 5.6 million.
