Jio presents new tariff plans to 4G subscribers

Phone user in VietnamIndia’s leading 4G operator Reliance Jio Infocomm today announced Rs 399 tariff plan with unlimited services for the next three months — to its Jio Prime Members.

Reliance Jio said the Rs 309 tariff plan, which was launched earlier, will provide unlimited Jio services for two months.

Jio customers will get the new plans from 11 July and will be applicable for all new as well as existing subscribers.
JIO Prime tariffs from July 2017“Jio customers can enjoy 1GB data per day at 4G speed followed by unlimited at 128 kbps, unlimited local, STD and national roaming voice calls and unlimited national SMS,” said Reliance Jio Infocomm in a statement issued on Tuesday.
JIO ratesOver and above the Prime exclusive plans, Jio is also introducing new Every Day More Value (EDMV) plans. These plans provide 20 percent more value than competitors’ best plans.

Jio has also enhanced the duration of the Rs 349 pack to 56 days from 28 days. Users will get 2GB data everyday on its 4G network across India. The duration of the Rs 399 pack is 84 days. Users will get 1 GB data everyday under this Rs 399 pack.

Reliance Jio said its new rates are available from Rs 19 to Rs 9,999. Jio is offering unlimited calls for Rs 19 per day. But users will get 200 MB data. Jio also has Rs 49, Rs 96 and Rs 149 packages.

Earlier, TelecomLead.com reported that Jio does not have a strong presence in rural telecom markets in India. Some of the new tariff plans will enable the Mukesh Ambani-promoted telecom operator to spearhead in rural telecom markets of India.

Jio, in a bid to retain and add new subscribers, enhance the duration of the Rs 309 pack to 56 days from the earlier 28 days. Jio is offering unlimited data with a cap of 1 GB everyday under the Rs 309 pack.

The telecom industry is expecting that Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone will respond to the latest tariff plan from Reliance Jio.
