Jio new data plan to power Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

Reliance Jio annual reportReliance Jio today said its low cost data plans will power the latest Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which will be available across 900 cities in India.

More than 2,000 Reliance Digital outlets are going to sell Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus for Indians.

Jio said the MRP 799 plan provides 90 GB of data per month for postpaid users, over and above the free voice, SMS and complimentary subscription to Jio’s applications. MRP 799 is also available for prepaid users for 28 days.

Reliance Digital will offer 70 percent buyback on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. A customer, who opts for MRP Rs 799 or higher Jio tariff plan, will get 70 percent of MRP as buyback amount on return of the device after a year.

Customers can avail this offer at Reliance Digital or Jio stores as well as on Amazon.in, MyJio app and Jio.com.

Akash M Ambani, director of Reliance Jio, made this announcement at the company’s campus at the Reliance Corporate Park, Navi Mumbai.

Apple CEO Tim Cook and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh D Ambani greeted the Indian mobile phone users through a video message.
