Huawei partners with Telenor in 10 countries for managed services





Huawei announced that it has been selected by Telenor Global Services (TGS), a provider of global interconnection services, as the sole partner for its Voice & IP network renovation across 10 countries.





Huawei will provide TGS with a comprehensive One Network and IP Core solution and managed services for five years to countries including, Norway, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia.





Huawei’s One Network and IP Core solution will enable TGS to effectively deliver advanced voice, video, data and IP services to 170 international operators by building a future-proof IPX ready network, which is a high capacity and high interconnection quality security network that is compatible with TDM networks. In addition to developing the new IP connectivity network solution for TGS, Huawei’s integrated managed services – including network prevention, planned, and corrective maintenance services – will maintain the entire network, allowing TGS to focus on ensuring optimal network quality for its customers.

Huawei has provided more than 5,000 network performance management projects to more than 395 operators in 165 countries. Huawei’s One Network solution for future-proof interconnection has been adopted by more than 73 operators. Huawei is the fastest growing managed services provider, with more than 230 contracts serving operators in more than 60 countries.
