China Telecom to expand LTE hybrid network trial to 56 cities

China Telecom today said it will expand the LTE hybrid network trial (TD-LTE and LTE FDD) to 56 cities.

The telecom service provider has received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for expanding the LTE trials.

The additional 15 cities include Shaoxing, Taizhou, Changzhou, Xuzhou, Yangzhou, Yancheng, Qingdao, Tangshan, Baoding, Dalian, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Jiangmen, Wuhu and Yulin.
