CA Technologies announced it has acquired privately-held Torokina Networks, a provider of service assurance management solutions to 3G, 4G and Long Term Evolution (LTE) communications service providers (CSPs) worldwide.
The acquisition enables CA Technologies www.ca.com to expand the support of its service assurance portfolio for the advanced network devices and equipment leveraged by CSPs for their rapidly-growing mobile voice and data environments.

Torokina and CA Technologies have previously worked together with CSPs to solve these market requirements. A combined service assurance solution is available today based on the CA Infrastructure Management portfolio and the Torokina product. CA Technologies has also enhanced its deployment team with professional services team members from Torokina who bring significant experience and expertise in working with the complexities of the modern CSP customer environments.

Using one solution to manage both customer-facing service networks and internal IT operations helps CSPs reduce cost and improve efficiency.
