Airtel re-launches AirtelThanks customer program offering more benefits

Bharti Airtel, the fastest mobile data service provider, has re-launched its customer program – AirtelThanks – offering more benefits to its subscribers.
Airtel India's fastest networkAccess to premium content brands like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Zee5, Wynk music or devices brands are some of the benefits to Silver, Gold and Platinum customers from the revamped AirtelThanks program.

Silver customers will receive basic content – AirtelTV and Wynk. Gold customers will gain from telecom benefits, premium content or financial services. Platinum customers will get VIP service from Airtel, premium content, e-books, device protection, and exclusive invites and priority access to events and sales.

Airtel, the #1 telecom operator based on annual revenue, has also renamed the app as Airtel Thanks. Airtel’s engineers have built the app using strong data-science and segmentation algorithms to customize the user experiences, based on user interests and profiles.

Adarsh Nair, chief product officer of Bharti Airtel, said: “#AirtelThanks is an ambitious program that is built on deep technology and partnerships. We are investing in data science, machine learning and smart APIs to develop these experiences in partnership with brands like Amazon.”

Shashwat Sharma, chief marketing officer of Bharti Airtel, said: “#AirtelThanks is our play to further strengthen our share with the quality customers by offering exclusive rewards to them for their association with Airtel.”

Airtel also launched a new pre-paid bundle at INR 299 to offer 28 days of Amazon Prime membership along with 2.5GB data per day, unlimited calls to any network and 100 SMS/day. Amazon Prime membership is also available with Airtel Infinity Postpaid Plans.

Airtel customers with the new prepaid plan can enjoy unlimited video streaming, movies and TV shows on Prime Video including the latest Hollywood, Bollywood and Indian regional movies, top TV shows, stand-up comedies and kids programs.
