Airtel to invest Rs 20,000 crore this year: Sunil Mittal

Bharti Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal today announced that Airtel will be investing Rs 18,000 crore – Rs 20,000 crore this year.

Sunil Mittal made this announcement at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2017 in the presence of Reliance Jio Chairman Mukesh Ambani.

Mukesh Ambani did not make any announcement related to investment. Reliance Jio has grabbed nearly 130 million 4G subscribers on its all-India 4G network. Reliance Jio has made an investment of $20 billion plus to launch its 4G network in India.
