Airtel 4G services launched at Ambala in Haryana

Bharti Airtel has launched its 4G services on dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs (customer premise equipment), Mi-Fi and Wi-Fi dongles in Ambala in Haryana.

Haryana becomes 8th telecom circle to get Airtel 4G services in India. Bharti Airtel rival Reliance Jio Infocomm is expected to launch 4G in July-August after investing around $17 billion in 4G telecom infrastructure and spectrum. Aircel, a Maxis Telecom joint venture, has launched 4G in select areas for trials.

Airtel 4G services are available in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangaluru, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Moga, Bathinda and Patiala.
Bharti Airtel has also kicked off 4G trials for existing Airtel customers in Hyderabad, Vizag, Chennai and Mumbai. But Airtel 4G is yet to pick up in a big way.

The Indian telecom service provider is offering the home Wi-Fi CPEs bundled with 4G plans for Rs 2,500.

The company has installed special demo zones and kiosks at Airtel Store at Shop no 180-1/3 Minerva complex Rai Market Ambala Cantt. and newly opened Airtel Store at Ward No.7, Ground Floor, Manali House, Prem Nagar Road, Ambala City.

Airtel has also introduced a special pack of Rs 995 for heavy data (CPE) users which will offer 10 GB of 4G data.
