Airtel 4G reaches Gujarat with new data plans

Telecom network operator Airtel has expanded its 4G coverage – on 1800 MHz (FD LTE) spectrum — to Gujarat by launching the service in Ahmedabad.

Investment in 1800 MHz (FD LTE) spectrum band ensures higher spectrum efficiency and increased upload and download speeds promising better customer experience to Airtel 4G customers in main areas of Ahmedabad city.

“We are delighted to launch our 4G services in Gujarat during the auspicious festival of Navratri starting with Ahmedabad,” said Murthy Chaganti, CEO – Gujarat, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel also announced a new 4G offer for pre-paid customers. Customers can enjoy 10 GB 4G data for Rs 249 with any new 4G handset they purchase. With Rs 249 recharge, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by customers by sending the SMS 4G Offer to 52141.

Airtel 4G Postpaid

Airtel’s Infinity plans starting from Rs 1199 will offer 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and on roaming.

Airtel’s myPlan offers post-paid customers the convenience of designing their own plans.

Airtel 4G Prepaid

Airtel’s special 4G Prepaid pack for Rs 1495 offers free 4G data for 90 days.

Airtel 4G prepaid pack priced at Rs 1,499 offers 6GB 4G data upfront and allows customers to get 1GB 4G at Rs 51 for the next 12 months.
