Zain Saudi Arabia announced the appointment of senior telecom professional Peter Kaliaropoulos as CEO.

Peter Kaliaropoulos, an Australian national, will replace Hassan Kabbani, who has decided to step down from his post due to personal reasons after serving Zain Saudi Arabia over the past three years.

In his most recent role, Peter Kaliaropoulos worked at touch Lebanon, a telecom operator managed by Zain on behalf of the Lebanon Telecom Ministry, till June 2016.

Peter Kaliaropoulos, who has more than 30 years experience, has also served as a director on the Board of various technology and telecommunication companies in Singapore, India, USA, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
