Zain KSA taps Astellia to better customer experience

Telecom service provider Zain KSA has signed a three-year deal with Astellia, a provider of network and subscriber intelligence, to strengthen customer satisfaction.

Astellia will support Zain to launch a network based customer experience analysis program. The network deal is part of Zain KSA’s transformation plan that started in early 2014. Zain KSA is spending $1.2 billion to expand and upgrade its network. Five leading technology companies are assisting Zain KSA to assist in its transformation initiative.

“We are happy to join forces with Astellia to provide more qualitative service to our customers, and this move forms a further step in our commitment to enhance our services and our network,” said Hassan Kabbani, CEO of Zain KSA.

Meanwhile, Astellia will demonstrate how Nova, a LTE Core solution, assists telecom operators to complete VoLTE launch, handle customer complaints efficiently, detect and retain potential churners in the wireless segment.

Astellia will also showcase its new solution, Nova RAN Optimizer which empowers radio engineering teams with customer-centric geo-location and SON capabilities to gain operational efficiency and improve the customer experience.
