Vodafone unveils SuperWifi Internet for Indian enterprises

Vodafone UK imageTelecom operator Vodafone has unveiled SuperWifi services for Indian enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation journey.

Vodafone India did not reveal the price of Wi-Fi services to business customers. Vodafone is under extreme pressure from Reliance Jio Infocomm to enhance revenue from traditional non-voice and data services.

Vodafone’s Wi-Fi services will enable enterprises to implement digital initiatives around customer engagement, business automation and operational efficiency. Vodafone will be targeting both small and large enterprises with its high speed, low cost, managed WiFi network.

Vodafone SuperWifi is suitable for offices, educational campuses, retail stores, warehouses, factories, hospitals, etc.

Vodafone Business Services said the Vodafone SuperWifi is the first Enterprise WiFi Network as a Service by an Indian telecom operator.

Organizations can enjoy a high-speed WiFi network experience with low upfront Capex investments and unified control of network policy at various locations. The managed WiFi service offers an online reporting and analytics portal showing analytics on network performance, usage and applications to help businesses take the right IT and marketing related decisions.

“Business customers can expect a superior wireless experience, minus the challenges of purchasing, configuring, managing and upgrading that come with a typical non-managed Wi-Fi setup,” said Anil Philip, senior vice president, Products – Vodafone Business Services.
