Vodafone, Tata Docomo announce offers to woo mobile users

Two major Indian telecom service providers – Vodafone and Tata Docomo- have come up with new offers to woo mobile customers.

Vodafone today announced it is offering an exclusive “Every Recharge Wins” offer for its pre-paid customers effective July 24.

The offer will benefit the company’s 160 million pre-paid customers approximately. Each customer who recharges the package gets an assured prize, Vodafone said.

The offer is applicable to any recharge options like top ups, bonus cards, plan vouchers in any of Vodafone retail outlets, Vodafone Stores, Online or M-Pesa. The rewards will be offered in the form of free additional voice minutes, internet or SMS.

The benefits would be awarded to the customers within a span of 4 hours of recharge, the company said. The reward will be proportionate to the value of recharge.

Meanwhile Tata Docomo has come up with ‘Unlimited WhatsApp’ offerings for new post-pay customers in Mumbai.

The plan includes unlimited data usage on WhatsApp to new post pay customers and also helps them enjoy additional benefits which vary with every plan. The plans start at Rs 199, Tata Docomo said.

Each plan in the portfolio not only offers at least one unlimited benefit but also a single call rate for all local or STD calls.
