Vodafone offers private cloud to software co Planixs

Vodafone
Telecom operator Vodafone will offer private cloud capabilities to software vendor Planixs to help in growing Planixs’ Workforce Planning and Optimisation services.

The 5-year enterprise contract will enable Planixs to use Vodafone’s private cloud capabilities in the US, Germany and Singapore to provide service for its Workforce Optimisation customers. Planixs will benefit from the security standards of Vodafone’s private cloud to protect the confidential HR data in Planixs’ product.

“Planixs was looking for a special partner – one which could support complex, cloud based analytics and optimization software in a secure and stable environment and do so in multiple locations,” said Vodafone Head of Cloud and Hosting Services Greg Hyttenrauch.

Planixs Chief Executive Officer Neville Roberts was instrumental in the selection of Vodafone for its cloud platform.
