Vodafone launches Sakhi Recharge in Haryana

Vodafone Sakhi Recharge in HaryanaVodafone India today announced the launch of Vodafone Sakhi Recharge enabling cell phone users to recharge their pre-paid SIMs, without sharing their mobile numbers with retail shops, in Haryana.

Mohit Narru – business head, Vodafone Haryana Circle and Kavita Jain, minister Urban and Local Bodies and Department of Women and Child Development, attended the launch of the free service from Vodafone India.

Vodafone Sakhi Recharge will help customers — especially for women and girls — to maintain their privacy and ensure safety during all their recharge interactions. Customers can get their prepaid recharge done without sharing their number with the retailer.

“Vodafone Sakhi Recharge helps subscribers, especially women keep their phone numbers private and secure,” said Mohit Narru – business head, Haryana, Vodafone India.

Vodafone India mobile customer need to send a toll free SMS PRIVATE to 12604.The customer will receive a 10 digit OTP which can be shared at any retail shop or Vodafone Store/Mini Store to make SIM recharge.
