Vodafone to hire over 130 management trainees by 2015

Telecom service provider Vodafone India today said it will hire over 130 management trainees by 2015.

These management trainees, who will get exposure of B2B, B2C and technology company, will join more than 13,000 employees of Vodafone India.

Vodafone in a statement said it will hire employees through its DISCOVER CAMPUS PROGRAM.

Since the launch in 2010, Vodafone has hired 292 fresh talents through the DISCOVER Program from more than 20 B-Schools and T-Schools such as the IIM’s, XLRI, MDI, SIBM, IIFT, JBIMS, SCMHRD, SP Jain, FMS, NMIMS, etc.

Starting their careers as Management Trainee at Vodafone, 38 percent of them now are working as mid and senior management.

Management trainees can utilize DISCOVER, a 12-month development plan, and get exposure in different functions and markets depending upon their abilities to build experience by playing different roles.

Top 5 percent to 10 percent of DISCOVER Graduates will also get international assignments under the Columbus – Vodafone’s Graduate International Mobility program.
