Telecom network operator Vodafone India has introduced FLEX, a new prepaid plan for its mobile customers in India – for voice, mobile data or SMS.

Prepaid customer can use Flex for voice, data, roaming or SMS with a single recharge. Earlier, data was part of only select packages.

Vodafone FLEX customers can carry forward their un-used Flex, control their exact usage, and get savings of up to 25 percent for 28 days with a single recharge.

Vodafone FLEX is available in denominations of ranging from Rs 119 (325 Flex), Rs 199 (700 Flex), Rs 299 (1200 Flex) Rs 399 (1750 Flex).

Vodafone will deduct 1 Flex for using 1 MB 2G, 3G or 4G data or for sending 1 SMS or for making 1 minute of incoming call on roaming. Vodafone will deduct 2 Flex for making 1 minute of local / STD calls or 1 minute of outgoing call on roaming.

For Rs 117, Vodafone Flex is offering 135 minutes of calls and 55 MB Internet for 28 days. For Rs 194, Vodafone Flex is providing 250 minutes of calls and 200 MB data plan.

90 percent of customers prefer to use prepaid. “Vodafone FLEX gives prepaid customers total control with the flexibility to use their Flex as per their individual choice and usage style – more for voice or more for data – offering value for money,” said Sandeep Kataria, director – Commercial, Vodafone India.

The main benefit from Vodafone Flex is that there’s no need for multiple recharges for voice, data, SMS and roaming.

No response to Jio offers

The latest offer from Vodafone indicates that the telecom network operator is not ready to match free offers from Reliance Jio. Reliance Jio is offering free voice and roaming calls for free if you buy Internet plans.
