Videocon Telecom Q2 revenue up 60% to Rs 182 crore

Indian mobile service provider Videocon Telecom today said its Q2 revenue in 2014-15 rose 60 percent to Rs 182 crore.

ARPU of Rs 155 per subscriber per month, mobile data consumption and increase in subscriber base were the primary growth drivers.

Videocon Telecom has subscriber base of 8.3 million across its 4 operating circles in Q2 2014-15 with a revenue of 182 crore.

Minutes of usage of Videocon Telecom increased 40 percent in Q2.

Data revenue of Videocon Telecom grew 160 percent, while data realization improved 71 percent during the period.

Increase in its GRPM (Gross rate per min) was 15 percent.

Arvind Bali, director and CEO, Videocon Telecom, said: “Gross revenue, net revenue and subscriber base, and unit level growth including ARPU, GRPM and data / VAS contribution to gross revenue.”
