Telenor Capex (excluding license and spectrum) for 2014 increased 18.6 percent to SEK 16,870 million or $2.22 billion. Last year, the main focus of its Capex was on networks to support data growth in key telecom markets.

Telenor Capex for 2015

Capex to sales ratio in 2014 was 15.8 percent against 14.3 percent in 2014. Telenor will be targeting mid-single digit organic revenue growth in 2015. This indicates that there will be growth in Capex for 2015.

“We will continue to focus on the industry transition from voice to data, which is resulting in significant changes to our ecosystem. The outlook for 2015 is mid-single digit organic revenue growth and an EBITDA margin in the range of 33-35 percent. Capex to sales ratio is expected to be in line with 2014, excluding the broadcasting satellite,” said Baksaas.
