Telecom minister Kapil Sibal to unveil new COAI logo and brand identity

Telecom minister Kapil Sibal is expected to unveil a logo and brand identity for Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), GSM mobile service providers’ body in India.

COAI’s press meet will be attended by Rajan S Mathews, director general, COAI; Himanshu Kapania, chairman of COAI and MD of Idea Cellular; and Marten Pieters, vice chairman of COAI and MD & CEO of Vodafone India.

The GSM mobile industry body says the Indian telecom industry and its prime industry body, COAI are going through a critical path of growth and transformation. In tune with the growth, size and convergence of the industry, COAI has undertaken a makeover of its brand image and identity.

COAI will update its image and role as a thought leader working together with the government, regulator, operators, equipment manufacturers and other stakeholders of the industry to make the National Telecom Policy 2012 a reality.
