Telecom Italia taps Kofax to optimize customer relationship management platform

Telecom Lead Europe: Telecom Italia is set to optimize its customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

For enhancing its CRM capabilities, Telecom Italia will invest more than $600,000 in a Kofax solution.

As part of the agreement, Telecom Italia will use Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules and Kofax Communication Server to automatically capture and perfect business critical content from inbound and outbound customer communications in both paper and electronic formats.

The Kofax solution enables the telecom operator to engage its customers more effectively, gain competitive advantage and grow its business while reducing costs and improving regulatory compliance.

Howard Dratler, executive vice president of field operations at Kofax

“Telecommunications providers operate in a hyper-competitive environment where customer loyalty can change overnight,” said Howard Dratler, executive vice president of field operations at Kofax. “Leading providers like Telecom Italia implement Kofax to ensure their employees have access to up-to-the-minute, accurate information in order to optimize customer engagement.”

Kofax Capture is designed to significantly reduce retrieval costs while improving regulatory and compliance efforts. Kofax Capture is flexible and scalable, enabling customers to define where and how images are captured and indexed, whether in a home office, remote branch or back office data center.

Recently, TelecomLead.com reported that Latin American Nautilus (LANautilus), Telecom Italia Sparkle Group Operations in the Americas, has tied up with Ciena Corporation to upgrade its submarine network.
