The M360 Eurasia 2026 will bring together policymakers, telecom executives, technology innovators, and regulators to discuss the future of AI, connectivity, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure across Eurasia. The event will take place on May 20-21 in Samarkand, marking the second consecutive year that Uzbekistan hosts the GSMA-led regional technology summit.
Organized by the GSMA in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Beeline Uzbekistan, and VEON Group, the event will focus on AI-ready governments, sovereign digital infrastructure, satellite-enabled mobile expansion, and cybersecurity resilience. Supporting organizations include the International Telecommunication Union and the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications.
The speaker lineup includes Almazbek Kadyrkulov, Anil Vijayachandran, Amy Peck, Polina Chernikova, Eric Yang, Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu, Aamir Ibrahim, Gabil Gasimov, Sylwia Kechiche, Dmitry Shukov, Mikhail Gerchuk, Ozodkhon Davlatshoev, Yevgen Nastradin, Anna Ambrozevich, and Jianpeng Zhang.
Discussions during the summit will cover AI adoption, digital government strategies, sovereign cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, satellite integration for mobile connectivity, and telecom network modernization across Central Asia and Eurasia.
A major highlight of the summit will be the regional ITU Hackathon focused on green and digital innovation. Innovators from Central Asia will present technology solutions targeting renewable energy, smart water management, waste reduction, and environmental monitoring. Winning teams from the semi-final in Samarkand will advance to the finals in Kyrgyzstan.
John Giusti said Eurasia is rapidly becoming one of the world’s most dynamic digital hubs, adding that the event will help accelerate collaboration, investment, and digital transformation in the region. Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov said the summit supports the country’s Digital Uzbekistan 2030 strategy and strengthens its ambitions to become a leading Eurasian IT and AI hub.
Yevgeniy Nastradin highlighted Uzbekistan’s transformation into a rapidly expanding digital market and said the company is evolving from a traditional telecom operator into a broader digital ecosystem focused on innovation, business growth, and technology-driven economic development.
