T-Mobile Polska appoints Adam Sawicki as CEO

T-Mobile Polska has appointed Adam Sawicki as chief executive officer.

Sawicki will be reporting to Claudia Nemat, board member for Europe and Technology at Deutsche Telekom. He succeeds Zacharias Piperidis, who had an interim position in addition to his tasks as OTE Group Chief Operating Officer since November 1, 2014.

Sawicki is currently the president of the Management Board and chief executive officer of Netia, the second-largest fixed-line network operator in Poland. From 2008 to 2011, he was chief executive officer of GTS Central Europe and, between 2011 and 2012, he was president of the Management Board and chief executive officer of Ruch Internet.
