Reliance Communications revenue down 4% during Q1

reliance-communications-3gReliance Communications (RCOM) has reported Rs. 4,488 crore revenues from India operations in Q2, down 4 percent from 4,693 crore in Q1.

Total revenue for the quarter also decreased 4 percent to Rs. 5,142 crore.

Net Profit stands at Rs. 39 crore.

Global Operations Revenue for Q2 was Rs. 1,089 crore (-8 percent). EBITDA was Rs. 245 crore (+18 percent).

Total MOU for the quarter stands at 97.9 billion (-2 percent).

RPM at 44.6 paisa (-1 percent)

ARPU at Rs. 155 (+ 5 percent)

Total data customer base is 35.1 million including 24.5 million 3G/4G customers in Q2.  .

Total data traffic at 104.8 billion MB is up over 8% Y-o-Y. The traffic has increased mainly due to increase in data usage per subscribers.

RCOM said the results for the quarter were impacted by increase in competitive intensity, migration of CDMA customers to 4G LTE and seasonality factors.
