Orange announces management change at new growth activities division

Telecom-Orange announced the appointment of Xavier Couture as special assistant
to CEO Stephane Richard with responsibility for relations with the audiovisual
sector.

 

Xavier Couture joined the France
Telecom – Orange group in May 2008 as content director before taking charge of
the New Growth Activities Division at the end of 2010. Since September 2007, as
advisor to the general management of Orange, he has been in charge of a number
of matters related to the Group’s audiovisual content development policy.

 

Xavier Couture began his career in
the press, where among others he worked with the newspaper L’Equipe ,
television channel TF1, Eurosport, Canal+ group and the Endemol group.

 

The
company also announced that Jean-Paul Cottet, currently Orange group executive
vice president of Marketing and Innovation, will also assume responsibility for
France Telecom-Orange New Growth Activities replacing Xavier Couture.

Jean-Paul Cottet, a graduate of X-Mines, had a very diversified career path:
marketing and sales, Consumer Shareholding Department for the initial public
offering, Regional Department of Paris, Communications and External Relations
Department, Information Systems Department, International Department and
Enterprise Market Department France.

Recently, France Telecom-Orange announced its partnership agreement with Bouygues Telecom to share Fiber to the Home networks (FTTH) deployed by France
Telecom-Orange across France.
