NII Holdings appoints Dave Truzinski as chief information officer

Telecom Lead America: NII Holdings, a provider of mobile
communication services operating under the Nextel brand in Latin America,
has appointed Dave Truzinski as vice president and chief information
officer.

 

Dave Truzinski will be reporting to Gokul
Hemmady, EVP, chief financial officer and chief transformation officer.

NII Holdings’ EVP, chief financial officer and chief transformation officer.

 

Recently, Truzinski was serving as senior vice president
and chief information officer at Leap Wireless / Cricket Communications.

 

At Leap, he developed the IT organization’s execution
capabilities and delivered a number of large-scale, business systems
transformations.

Last year, NII Holdings announced that its operating subsidiary, Nextel Mexico received $375
million loan from China Development Bank (CDB) to acquire 3G network
infrastructure from Huawei Technologies.
