M1 announces MVNO deal with Liberty Wireless

M1, a telecom operator in Singapore, announced its MVNO deal with Liberty Wireless to offer voice, messaging and data services under the Circles Asia brand — using M1’s mobile network.

Liberty Wireless, a Singapore-based telecoms with a MVNO license, aims to transform the regional telecommunications industry by introducing innovative packages and better customer experience.

With the deal, Liberty Wireless will become the first mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Singapore to offer voice, messaging and data services to postpaid customers. Circles Asia will focus on product and service innovation, bringing healthy competition in the industry.

Circles Asia is planning to launch its MVNO mobile service by the end of 2015.

In addition to Liberty Wireless, M1 also hosts two MVNOs offering prepaid mobile services to consumers.

“Through this alliance, Circles Asia is poised to launch innovative products and transform how consumers experience the power of mobile,” said Rameez Ansar, director of Liberty Wireless.
