Intelenet launches new facility in Patna for BSNL customers

Intelenet Global Services, a BPO company that is part
of the Serco Group, has launched new facility in Patna for BSNL, one of
the largest public sector companies providing a comprehensive range of telecom
services in India .

The new facility in Patna will service BSNL’s base of
prepaid, postpaid and 3G cellular subscribers in the telecom circles of Bihar
and Jharkhand.

Intelenet recognizes Patna as an emerging business
destination. The capacity built in Patna is based entirely on client
requirements and also blends with our business strategy of providing
multi-location delivery capability to our clients. The ability to acquire a pan
India reach is part of Intelenet’s growth strategy that further cements our
position as the strongest player in the domestic BPO industry with an ability
to provide a complete spectrum of outsourcing solutions,” said Bhupender
Singh, chief executive officer, domestic operations, Intelenet Global
Services.

The center will provide multi-lingual services in English,
Hindi and other local regional languages to deliver customer support
services including product inquiries, customer complaints, requests for
provisioning new services, and outbound calls.

Bihar holds strong potential and serves as a focal point for BSNL
customers in other neighboring circles like Jharkhand. The delivery center in
Patna will also provide employment opportunities to the local population in the
region thereby providing a thrust to develop the local ecosystem.

Intelenet’s domestic subsidiary provides services in 15
languages with centers in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Mohali, Kolkata,
Gurgaon, Delhi, Puducherry, Lucknow, etc.

The domestic Indian BPO market is forecast to grow by around
20 percent per annum to $2.5bn in 2014, according to Gartner.

Intelenet is a strong player with valued experience and
expertise in the telecom sector. With the recent launch of a center in Lucknow
and now in Patna, it has reinforced its reliability and the acumen to scale on
an ongoing basis for its clients. We are delighted that this affiliation will
help us provide better customer support and achieve the desired business
outcomes,” said RK Agarwal, director – Consumer Mobility, BSNL.

Recently, Intelenet Global Services also announced the launch  of
a new delivery center in Lucknow as part of a strategic arrangement with BSNL. Intelenet
provides inbound and outbound customer support services for BSNL’s operations
